The curriculum is geared toward English language learners who want to improve their language competence and fluency in writing, communication and critical thinking skills for entry into most college diploma, degree and graduate certificate programs or for further professional development. The program focuses on communicative academic English and integrates listening and reading (receptive skills) and speaking and writing (productive skills), together with classroom interaction and mediation language activities and strategies, to support students in achieving their language goals.
